It's a recurring event that the portraitist is focused upon by his
subjects. Aaron came by my studio with his sons, and we finished the
session making portraits of the portraitist.
He did a good job, too. This picture has all the hallmarks of Lloydian
portraiture: motion blur, grey hair, black backdrop, Irish eyes. Even a bit
of tattered clothing. And every photog whose dreams have been fueled by
matchbook covers touting nine figure incomes can relate to the blonde.
I've been accused of being a 1956 DeSoto by people who liken my facial hair
to curb feelers. While it may be more accurate to term them Natalie
feelers, I am in fact a 1949 DeSoto.
